Hello all! I know I've been fairly absent on the blog - I do post more on instagram. My health has continued to be issue for me; but I've learned to thrive by mixing up my routine - I tend to wear Jamberry nail wraps, as they are more user friendly as far as wear and application time go, so I can still have the patterns I enjoy a little easier. I still enjoy painting my nails when I feel up for it - there are so many gorgeous polishes out there, so I can never give that up ;)

Happy Hands Am I Not Yours? Ruffian Nails
I'm sorry I've been so absent yet again; I've been battling more health issues and trying to recuperate. I do not have much energy to write; but I really want to share this nail art look because it reminds me of spring! Also very delayed: this look is for day 31 of Chalkboard Nails 31 Day Challenge 2014 which is inspired by a nail art look done by Wondrously Polished.

#FrostyVoxBox
I don't have access to my fancy photos right this moment, but I wanted to share my #Frostyvoxbox, which I received compliments on Influenster.
I was rather impressed by the products in this vox box, especially the NYC lipstick & No7 serum. Please feel free to ask questions about specific products. I'll come back and add details later this weekend.

Snowflakes in a Pond of Blue. . .Presents
This winter I decided to recreate one of my favorite nail art looks of last year, Snowflakes in a Pond of Blue, with a little twist - hand painted red ribbons and bows to look like wrapped presents! hehe. I did enter this in the #celebratewithpueen contest on instagram; but it was on my to do list before I knew about the contest. I've also been putting off posting this because it didn't quite live up to my expectations; but the Polish Party prompt this month is stamping with a three color gradient - pond gradient in this case ;) - so I thought that must be my wake up call to stop hoarding and start sharing!

Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate 16 Review
What better way to start off 2015 than with a nail art look inspired by Elton John's "The Circle of Life"? As soon as I saw the Born Pretty Store stamping plate 16 this song came instantly to mind; and I knew I had my inspirational song for day 22 of Chalkboard Nails 31 Day Challenge 2014 (please disregard that it's now 2015 and let me wrap up this goal from last year...heh).

Best of 2014
2014
has been a bit of a rough year for me, taking quite a toll on me
medically and mentally. I have not been able to indulge in my hobbies,
passions, and blogging the way I had hoped; but I still want to reflect
on what I have been able to accomplish this past year. As I did in 2013, I sifted
through my archives and found my top twelve nail art looks (with some help from you, my
readers, and your wonderful comments/likes/repins/etc.). Without
further ado, here are my 2014 picks.
