Hello lovelies! I'm officially back from vacation. Yay for my blog! Boo for being away from my boo. And no, I don't actually call him that, but I couldn't resist just this once. My return home means I can officially work on wrapping up my Chalkboard Nails 31 Day Challenge  2014. Today I have a manicure inspired my sailboat shirt and Jamberry nail wraps pattern Lunar Landing; which I'm using for day 26 in the challenge.

Hello all! I have finally returned from my vacation, which I had planned to share I was going on with a few posts (this included) but brilliantly left my computer (and in turn photos) behind. I guess life was trying to tell me to stop working so much, if only for a short period of time. Loaded Lacquer Moonshine in a Jar Swatches and Review

Hello, today I have Loaded Lacquer Moonshine in a Jar. This a a truly stunning polish. I'm sorry to say I do not have more photos; my broken nail from several weeks ago gave out when I had a run-in with a doorway. Anyways, I was able to get some of the polish, just not with the complete nail art (or without the pesky pointer I apparently forgot to lotion).

Pahlish Zhang Qian's Expedition, Electric Ghost, and Lady of Raynham Hall

As promised, I have some Pahlish swatches and reviews for you, including Zhang Qian's Expedition, Electric Ghost, and Lady of Raynham Hall. All swatches show three coats with top coat. I found they all dragged some if applied in thin coats, however thicker coats did not. All the same, my thin coats even out nicely with topcoat. Also, all of these polishes appeared lighter in the bottle than on the nail; so if you order them or similar polishes put it on your nails before thinking you purchased the wrong shade.

I decided to mix things up by doing my nail art over glitter, and even using the glitter to assist in some of the designs. Sugar Spun New York City Lights

Today's prompt for  The Crumpet's 33 Day Challenge is trying something new. I've been wanting to try out the spun sugar technique for a while now, more or less since my stripers started drying out just enough to cause the effect inadvertently. So for this prompt I decided to make the dragging deliberate and pair it with some pin dots. I must say I'm thrilled with the results. I also used a new polish I received in a mystery grab bag from Pretty & Polished called New York City Lights, which I will review for you below.
