I'm finally getting around to posting day 25 of Chalkboard Nails 31 Day Challenge  2014, inspired by fashion. When perusing looks from New York Fashion Weeks Spring/Summer 2015 I came across a gorgeous striped skirt in Erin Fetherston's Ready-to-Wear collection.

Hello again! What better way to start off a new year of nail art than reflecting over my favorite designs from the previous!? So, I scrounged through my archives and found my top twelve (with some help from you, my readers, and your wonderful comments/likes/repins/etc.). Without further ado, here they are in no particular order...unless you consider my wanting them to look great for the line-up.

31DC2013 : Feathered Nails

Today I have day 25  of Chalkboard Nails 31 Day Challenge 2013 and day 2 of The Crumpet's 33 Day Challenge. Sorry I'm bringing this to you a day late, but between work and filming (I'm working on the set of a movie base off of the book Love Finds You In Sugarcreek, OH) I couldn't fit in a post yesterday. Anywho, today I have another nail design from my archives that fortunately I could match with both challenges (fashion and my most used color is OPI A Grape Fit!).

"D" is for Designer Dolce and Gabbana Nails

So, in this post I bring to you my lovely "D" is for Designer Dolce and Gabbana nails inspired by a lovely ensemble seen on both Katy Perry and the 2013 Spring Runway. My colors are not quite to scale, because I wanted to use my"D" polishes, which I'll list below. I have apparently mastered combining two of my challenges into one post (I am now convinced they planned these to align subconsciously): week four of the Girly Girl Challenge hosted by Mani's by Moore, which is "Inspired by the Runway"; and week four of the "ABC" Challenge hosted by Erica's Nails and More, which is the letter "D." Phillip Lim Inspired Nails

When seeking inspiration for my latest nail style for the I Heart Nail Art contest hosted by Sally Hansen, I turned to Spring/Summer 2013 New York Fashion Week. Phillip Lim's collection instantly grabbed my attention (see some inspiration outfits below) with it's vibrant floral prints and graphic urban details. So sit back, RELAX, and enjoy! 

Floral Meets Nautical!

As a lover of all things nautical, I'm predisposed to see every item of clothing's inner seafarer. The same can be said for my nail inspirations; and my "modern princess-ballerina"  (i.e. I went to see Snow White the ballet) outfit is no different.
