Hello all! Today I bring you day 31 of The Crumpet's 33 Day Challenge, which features artwork with my three favorite colors--butter LONDON HRH and Molly -Coddled, and OPI A Grape Fit! I found this fun seashell art by Artdestiny, which I themed my design around.
I started with butter LONDON Pearly Queen as my base and then used the watercolor technique with my three colors, focusing the darker shades at the edges of my nails like a frame.
I then used my MoYou London Sailor Collection plate 01 for the seashells. I hope you enjoy them.
Feel free to leave me you're feedback or any questions you might have. In addition, let me know if you have any requests/ideas you would like to see. All my polishes are purchased by me (or a gift from a friend, not supplier) unless otherwise stated.

Gorgeous! There are no other words for it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, they exceeded my expectations!
Deleteso very pretty!
ReplyDeleteAwe, thank you so much!
DeleteThey are so so pretty! Who knew purple and shells went together so well!
ReplyDeleteIn return for your very helpful advice I thought I should also do my best to give you some critique for the bloggers bootcamp! There isn't anything that stands out to me that needs 'fixing' on your blog. I really like the layout, fonts, background, and your hand poses! The only things might be that some of your photos are a tad dark- maybe increase the brightness/exposure a wee bit. Also I love that you have links to your social media in the top right, but you could perhaps make them stand out more by downloading some buttons. Let me know if you need any help with that- I can copy you my code probably :)

Thank you for your feedback. I'm actually working on making my own lightbox to help with the lighting issues (I have vaulted ceilings-gorgeous, but not helpful for lighting). I really like your suggestion about the links; so I'll try some things out, but you may be hearing from me about them. I really appreciate your suggestions!
DeleteHaha I'm happy to help, but as I said I was searching for suggestions as your blog is perfect as is :) If you need help and I don't reply here please feel free to email me at Indianoceanpolish@gmail.com. I'm no coding genius but I seem to have put buttons on my blog somehow so I'm sure I can do it again!
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet. I feel the same about your blog. I sent you a message and I hope it find you well!
