Hello all. I'm sorry I've been inactive recently. Between work and play; and a manicure I had no desire to share; I have been off the grid. I do have some fun, non-related to nails news- I have been selected to attend the International Model and Talent Association Convention in New York this July with Pro-Model and Talent Management! How exciting!!!! Anywho, I know you are here for nail art, and I must say I am in love with my little creation.
I know this photo is blurry, but I just love it!
My inspiration: Claude Monet's Water Lilies
And finally the polishes I used (top to bottom, left to right): OPI's Cuckoo for this Color, I Have a Herring Problem, Hawaiian Orchid, Road House Blues, and The "It" Color; Wet n Wild's I Need a Refresh-Mint; Color Club's Art Club in White; Butter London's Big Smoke, Slapper, and Pearly Queen; and Ulta's The Jungle Look. Also, please note, this many colors are not necessary to do this nail art, I just tried out several to see what I liked.
As always, please feel free to leave me you're feedback on the manicure or any questions. In addition, let me know if you have any requests/ideas you would like to see me do. I know I haven't
done any swatches, but I'd be more than happy to if there's interest.More of Monet's photos can be found on Artsy.
So cute!! I wish I could free hand...
ReplyDeleteFree hand just takes practice, this coming from someone who used to have a hard time holding a pencil with my non-dominant hand; and now I can paint my nails (somewhat more slowly) to equal measure. I promise this look is soo easy. Think galaxy nails with flowers instead of stars. If you're interested let me know & I can do a tutorial.
DeleteSo cute and I could tell what it was straight away!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, this is probably my favorite nail art I've ever done.
