31DC2013 : Matrix Nails

Today marks day 23 of Chalkboard Nails 31 Day Challenge 2013 and the start of The Crumpet's 33 Day Challenge. So today I have a combo manicure that is a dotted print of The Matrix (movie).
Link for The Matrix Image.
For this design I wanted to do variegated, imperfect dots to better emulate the matrix coding. These nails actually turned out better than I thought they would. In addition, I used glow in the dark polish between layers (that's what gives the black polish it's shimmer). Sadly, I could not get it to photograph well; but I assure you, it made my vision of The Matrix even better. At some point I will have to try this with a better glow in the dark polish so I can get a defined image.
Polished used: Zoya Raven, China Glaze Ghoulish Glow, & Julep Leah.
Please feel free to  leave me you're feedback on this manicure or any questions you might have. In addition, let me know if you have any requests/ideas you would like to see. All my polishes are purchased by me (or a gift from a friend, not supplier) unless otherwise stated.

    1. Great, I wasn't sure if people would make the connection so I added the picture. Thank you! Also, I really enjoy your nail art (if you noticed my first comment, it took me a minute to make the connection).

    1. Thank you. I think it's China Glaze Ghoulish Glow that you love so much-I layered it over a straight black and boy did it shimmer in the photos. Bonus, it glows in the dark. Also, big fan of you friendship bracelet nails!
