"C" is for Claude Monet's Water Lilies Nails

Hello all. I'm sorry I've been inactive recently. Between work and play; and a manicure I had no desire to share; I have been off the grid. I do have some fun, non-related to nails news- I have been selected to attend the International Model and Talent Association Convention in New York this July with Pro-Model and Talent Management! How exciting!!!! Anywho, I know you are here for nail art, and I must say I am in love with my little creation
I have once again (and quite delayed at that) combined two of my challenges into one post (mostly because I did not like my original Girly Girl nail design, but was too lazy and busy to do something new until now): week three of the Girly Girl Challenge hosted by Mani's by Moore, which is "Delicate and Elegant"; and week three of the "ABC" Challenge hosted by Erica's Nails and More, which is the letter "C." If you click on the label for the challenge name you can find challenge details and my other nail designs for said challenge. So without further ado, here are my photos of Claude Monet's Water Lilies Nails.
I know this photo is blurry, but I just love it!
And finally the polishes I used (top to bottom, left to right): OPI's Cuckoo for this Color, I Have a Herring Problem, Hawaiian Orchid, Road House Blues, and The "It" Color; Wet n Wild's I Need a Refresh-Mint; Color Club's Art Club in White; Butter London's Big Smoke, Slapper, and Pearly Queen; and Ulta's The Jungle Look. Also, please note, this many colors are not necessary to do this nail art, I just tried out several to see what I liked.
As always, please feel free to  leave me you're feedback on the manicure or any questions. In addition, let me know if you have any requests/ideas you would like to see me do. I know I haven't done any swatches, but I'd be more than happy to if there's interest.

More of Monet's photos can be found on Artsy.

    1. Free hand just takes practice, this coming from someone who used to have a hard time holding a pencil with my non-dominant hand; and now I can paint my nails (somewhat more slowly) to equal measure. I promise this look is soo easy. Think galaxy nails with flowers instead of stars. If you're interested let me know & I can do a tutorial.
